RC’s Iron Laws
I’ve gone hunting for these too many times to count, so I’m posting them here for posterity. My thanks to reason commenter R C Dean:
- You get more of what you reward and less of what you punish.
- Money and power will always find each other.
- If everything is a priority, nothing is a priority.
- The less you know about something, the easier it looks.
- You aren’t free unless you are free to be wrong.
- Me today, you tomorrow.
- Foreseeable consequences are not unintended.
Originally discovered at reason, but looks like it originated at samizdata.
